Taneswary Subramaniam

Clarity for users.
Direction for teams.

I turn complex requirements and user behaviour into considered product experiences—and help teams carry that thinking through to delivery.

How I contribute

Hands-on design.
Clear direction. Considered delivery.

I connect research and design craft with the planning, standards and collaboration that help teams deliver.

01 / Discover

Research that shapes decisions

I plan research, evaluate design concepts and translate observed behaviour into practical improvements. I connect what people say with what they can actually do, giving teams a clear basis for design decisions.

Discovery · Usability testing · Design validation
02 / Create

Hands-on Figma craft

I turn ideas into structured design libraries and testable prototypes in Figma. I organise components, cover interaction states and review file quality so designers can reuse patterns and developers can understand the intended behaviour.

Component libraries · Prototyping · File organisation
03 / Systemise

Design Systems built for adoption

I jointly shape Design System direction and review component standards, accessibility and semantic token naming. I support adoption through usage guidance, do/don’t examples and knowledge sharing with designers and developers.

04 / Prioritise

Resource planning under pressure

I allocate work around team capacity, deadlines and feature dependencies. When priorities shift, I rebalance research, prototyping and design tasks to keep delivery moving while making space for testing and stakeholder commitments.

Task allocation · Capacity planning · Dependencies
05 / Guide

Leadership across disciplines

I review work, give actionable feedback and guide designers, researchers and UX writers towards a shared outcome. On a utility programme, I guided eight designers within a shared reporting arrangement alongside the Design Lead.

Design reviews · Mentoring · Team alignment
06 / Deliver

A practical bridge to implementation

I work with project managers, architects and developers to resolve requirements and design questions. My coding background helps me discuss feasibility, clarify handover and review implemented screens against the intended experience.

About me

A researcher’s curiosity.
A delivery lead’s perspective.

My experience spans utilities, banking, oil and gas, and logistics. I have helped establish UX practices, built shared libraries, mentored teams and worked with stakeholders across Asia and Europe.

A background in computing helps me bridge user needs and technical feasibility. I’m comfortable discussing a research finding with a designer, a dependency with an architect, or a priority with a business stakeholder.
